Nimbus eLearning FAQs
Will the eLearning content work for my company?
Our eLearning modules are built using Adobe Flash technology which means they are able to run on virtually any web browser. We also support SCORM/AICC standards for integration into your corporate Learning Management System.
What is a Learning Management System?
A Learning Management System, or LMS, is a software platform for managing the training and development of employees within your organization. An LMS can often integrate with eLearning using SCORM which means courses can be launched and tracked from within the system.
Why would I integrate these into an LMS?
By integrating with an LMS your learning and development department will be able to monitor who has attempted and completed the modules. It is also possible to link this training with individual employees development plans thereby encouraging them to take part.
What is SCORM and AICC?
SCORM stands for Shareable Content Object Reference Model and is a standard supported by many governments and leading companies around the World. SCORM provides a standard for eLearning developers to produce learning material that can be integrated into virtually any Learning Management System. AICC is another eLearning standard now largely superceded by SCORM.
Are the modules assessed?
We do not provide any assessments as standard but these can be built on request. Contact your Nimbus Account Manager for more information.
Can I access these modules as a single user?
Currently we only license these modules for organizations with a current maintenance agreement with Nimbus. We do not sell the content on a single user basis.
